Kip Morgan, Director of Media and Branding Analytics at Prudential (NYSE: PRU), is a leading marketing and analytics executive with more than 20 years of consumer and B2B experience. At Prudential's in house advertising agency, he is leading the effort to quantify ROI on advertising spending.
Morgan currently serves on the Board of the Research and Measurement committee for the Association of National Advertisers and on the Advisory Board of Couplewise.com. Morgan founded Marketing That Works LLC in 2009 and did extended engagements in loyalty and marketing for Frontier Communications, Showbizy.com and the National Association of Membership Groups (NAMG). Previously, Morgan has served as Vice President of Marketing for TheStreet’s Premium Services (NASDAQ: TST) and as eMusic’s Chief Marketing Officer. Prior to that, Morgan was with EarthLink (NASDAQ: ELNK) for over 12 years from pre-IPO startup to Fortune 500 leader in the Internet Access space.
At eMusic, Morgan drove global marketing and business development programs in over 35 countries and helped grow the business from 300,000 subscribers to over 400,000. At EarthLink, as Director and Vice President of Direct Marketing, Morgan helped grow the company’s customer base from 200,000 subscribers to more than five million. He spearheaded development, implementation and analysis of direct and brand marketing initiatives for all EarthLink- and PeoplePC-branded consumer products and services. As Vice President, Marketing, Loyalty and Analytics for EarthLink PeoplePC division, he led the development of the PeoplePC brand, as well as the strategic direction of all acquisition marketing and retention programs, growing that subscription service from 200,000 subscribers to more than 1.6 million. Prior to EarthLink, Morgan held senior media planning and supervisory positions with WPP’s Grey Global Group and with Omnicom’s Altschiller Reitzfeld Davis/Tracy-Locke, both in New York. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from Marlboro College in Marlboro, Vermont.
