Kip Morgan, eMusic’s Chief Marketing Officer, is a leading direct marketing and internet executive with more than twenty years of consumer marketing experience. He is responsible for leading eMusic’s worldwide marketing operations, driving the next phase of the company’s growth and overseeing traditional marketing functions, branding and business development. Morgan reports directly to eMusic Chairman and CEO Danny Stein. He previously served as vice president for direct marketing, access and audience at EarthLink (NASDAQ: ELNK), one of the largest U.S. internet service providers, with an award-winning reputation for outstanding customer service and its suite of online products and services.

At EarthLink, Morgan helped to rapidly grow the company’s customer base from 200,000 subscribers to more than five million, and spearheaded development, implementation and analysis of direct marketing initiatives for all EarthLink- and PeoplePC-branded consumer products and services. As vice president, marketing, loyalty and analytics for EarthLink’s PeoplePC division, he led the development of the PeoplePC brand, as well as the strategic direction of all acquisition marketing and retention programs, growing that subscription service from 200,000 subscribers to more than 1.6 million. Morgan was also responsible for leading direct marketing efforts for EarthLink’s flagship premium dial-up, High-Speed Cable/DSL and Business to Business products.

Prior to EarthLink, Morgan held senior media planning and supervisory positions with WPP’s Grey Global Group and with Omnicom’s Altschiller Reitzfeld Davis/Tracy-Locke, both in New York. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from Marlboro College in Marlboro, Vermont.
