Lori Johnson served as vice president, Corporate Affairs, and director of global communications for Cargill. She was responsible for leading the company’s internal, external and financial communications programs.
Johnson joined Cargill in 1984 as a writer in the Public Affairs Department. She held a number of communications and public affairs positions, including public affairs manager for Cargill Salt from 1999 to 2003 and director of communications for Cargill North America from 2003 to 2006. She worked on a variety of environmental, food safety, agricultural, trade and energy issues.
Johnson holds a B.A. in journalism and political science from the University of North Dakota.
