HIGH IMPACT JOURNEY: Destination New York

After three weeks in St. Pauls it was time to hit the road. I call this the “High impact Journey” and this is not because of the cities we will be visiting, which is exciting though, but where we are going and the personalities we will meet. In New York for instance, ProPublica, the New York Times, the Wall street journal, and the UN etc its on the itinerary.

From farm animals to ferris wheels, and corn to cable cars, the Minnesota State Fair has it all. The fair is probably a microcosm of America – a no-holds-barred display of capitalism, consumerism, politics, resourcefulness and yes, gluttony. I say this without malice, since these are traits that most Americans wear on their sleeves.

Every newsroom has a TV set and radio as well to monitor competition but to have a news studio in a newspaper newrooms i find that innovative or rather controversial.
