Jonathan Thompson is a second generation WPI Board member whose initial connection with WPI goes back to 1962 when he was a summer host/travel director.

His father, Fred Thompson, was a leading Board member for many years and was instrumental in the continuation and the re-direction of WPI.

Jon’s career has focused on media and the development of multiple platforms for information distribution, initially in print and for the past 10 years in a wide range of “new media.” He is currently a principal at several online ventures and is associated with two consulting companies.
