Kris Bunton is the associate dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of St. Thomas. Before being named associate dean, Bunton was department chair of the University of St. Thomas’ Communication and Journalism Department.
She has both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri and a Ph.D in Mass Communications from Indiana University. Prior to joining the faculty at St. Thomas, Bunton worked for the Poynter Center for the Study of Ethics and American Institutions at Indiana University.
