Surrounding the much anticipated 2020 U.S. presidential election, the World Press Institute (WPI) offered a two-part webinar series on the subject.
Part One
In the first webinar, longtime journalist James Fallows of The Atlantic talked about how the election was shaping up, the impact of the Electoral College, and the probable outcome of the election.
Following Fallows’ initial analysis, Michael Montgomery (senior reporter and producer, Center for Investigative Reporting and Reveal) posed questions to Mr. Fallows submitted by attendees of the webinar.
Part Two
Hear Fallows‘ insights about the problems (again!) with pre-election polling, possible Washington gridlock with GOP control of the U.S. Senate, and “what’s next” as the United States moves forward as a divided country.
The second half hour features Montgomery moderating a question & answer session.
Both Fallows and Montgomery are members of the WPI Board of Directors.
